Drawings

All these drawings are done in the landscape. As I cycle most days I will usually carry a sketchbook, pencils, black ink, and a bush or two. I have several water bottles that I carry on the bike for doing washes and using watercolurs. Sometimes I am involved in working on a particular series of paintings and need to revisit a particular place. It might be that I am painting the same view in different weather conditions or seasons of the year or times of day  or sometimes it is simply that I am ready in case I see something that interests me.

During my normal working year, all my artworks are sent to various galleries for specific yearly exhibitions and to keep the galleries I exhibit with supplied with artworks.
