We camped close by and went to have a look at the basalt column cliffs, The sand was as fine as any sand but eroded from the basalt cliffs, the stricking contracts at all time of the day was just wonderful. This painting concentrates on looking into the storm from the shore, there will be many more which will feature the basalt columns and the basalt sea stacks &#8230;&#8230;.
