Aurora 10th May 2024 Brechiek Ynysek Syllan. This was an extraordinary experinece. I started watching the aurora soon after 11 pm and continued to watch the aurora until 3 am. At it’s peak the aurora covered over half the sky and some colour was visible to the unaided eye mainly greens and pinks. This series of drawings are the begining of a series of artworks that will include large oil paintings. The artwork is unconventionally framed, it has mounting fittings on the back but no physically surrounding frame.
